Involvement
From inception, the owners of H•Linc have demonstrated a passion for supporting the local community and our veterans. It is part of our company’s DNA. It is simple, it is important to us to give back, so we do. Our effort of giving back ranges from corporate financial donations to supporting employees involved in charitable efforts to supporting local activities that help our community.
What makes us proud is that our employees are “giver’s” too! We always have an overwhelming amount of support by our own team in any charitable endeavor we participate in by our team. And the cooler part of HLinc is the efforts our team makes on their free time!
As part of our commitment to serve our community, we are collecting gently used business clothes (men’s and women’s) – including shoes – for recovering Walter Reed patients and their families. While we are not in a season of war, we still have many soldiers who are treated at Walter Reed and some with long-term stays. As they recover and begin to transition out of the military they are not equipped for civilian requirements such as wearing business clothes vs a uniform to an interview.
Employee Drives
2020: She’s My Daughter – Home (shesmydaughter.com) Through the pandemic, Domestic Violence Shelters have been brought to max capacity and many have been challenged with limited resources and donations available to them. HLINC completed 2 drives - in Fall 2020 & Spring 2021, collecting items and supporting She's My Daughter's “Pack a Purse” Campaign AND “Loved Not Forgotten” Campaign.
2019: We partnered with the Aletheia Foundation and ran a clothing drive within our HLinc team collecting gently used business clothes or shoes. We were blown away by the generosity of our team! We had bins and bins of beautiful clothing that the Aletheia Foundation was able to deliver to Walter Reed for patients and their families. While we are not in a season of war, there are still many soldiers who are treated at Walter Reed and some with long-term stays. As they recover and begin to transition out of the military they are not equipped for civilian requirements such as wearing business clothes vs a uniform to an interview.
Corporate Giving
Every year our executive team identifies charities that we believe are making the world a better place and we provide financial support to those organizations. Below is a list of key organizations that we stand behind and support.
At the Gary Sinise Foundation, we serve our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. We do this by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.
Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & Veterans families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital.
These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world.
Learn MoreWe believe that our veterans & service members can have a meaningful and lasting impact on others through athletics. We arm our Soldier Coaches with coaching knowledge and techniques along with connections to the athletic community.
